For many years merino wool balaclavas have been one of the most popular Green Rose items. Now that we are able to introduce some items from thicker knitted merino wool, we knew we just had to offer some knitted merino wool balaclavas too.

Baby balaclava

A knitted merino wool balaclava is more than just a hat or protection for the head from the cold. This type of hat provides some protection not only for the head but also for the neck and part of the chest. It can replace not only a hat but a scarf too. It is also really easy to put on and your child might even be able to do it themselves. 

These balaclavas are made from 100% merino wool that has been knitted in a rib stitch pattern. Merino wool is breathable, it helps to maintain optimal temperature, and it protects from excessive moisture. These balaclavas are a great choice not only for the winter months but also for colder mornings and evenings in autumn and spring.

We offer these balaclavas in two colours – white (natural wool colour) and dark blue (sea blue).
