This sweater is made from 100% merino wool and is equivalent in warmth to a traditional thick woollen jumper. This is an excellent choice for men who don’t like wearing lots of layers since the sweater is relatively thin but incredibly warm and soft (even for those with sensitive skin).

This jumper is thicker and warmer than GREEN ROSE base layer thermal shirts and is intended as a second-layer clothing item. The base-layer shirts are meant to be worn as a first layer right next to the skin in order to maintain optimal body temperature. This jumper is an excellent choice as an extra layer when additional warmth is required. It can be worn on top of the base-layer shirts or any other daily first-layer clothes.

Knitted merino wool fabric is naturally breathable and prevents overheating. If you get sweaty, the fabric absorbs moisture and wicks it away.
