Merino Wool Newborn Kimono Bodysuit
25,00€
A soft merino wool newborn kimono bodysuit that wraps gently around delicate skin, keeps the tummy covered and makes dressing easy without pulling anything over your baby’s head from day one.
A newborn kimono bodysuit feels soft from the first touch. This newborn kimono bodysuit in 100% merino wool gives your baby a natural first layer that stays close to the skin without feeling tight. It also works as a newborn winter onesie under warmer clothing when the day is cold, yet remains breathable indoors.
Newborn winter onesie comfort for every season
Merino wool helps keep a steady body temperature, so your baby feels warm when the air is cool and more comfortable when the room is heated. The wrap-front design opens from both sides, which makes dressing easier because nothing needs to be pulled over a newborn’s head. This is especially helpful in the first weeks, when every movement should feel gentle and secure.
Wrap-style merino baby bodysuit
The side-opening cut keeps the tummy and back covered when you lift, cuddle, or lay your baby down. Fold-over cuffs can be used as soft mittens, helping to warm little hands and reduce accidental scratches. When they are not needed, they simply turn back, letting your baby touch, stretch, and explore more freely.
This newborn kimono bodysuit is easy to pair with matching baby trousers made from the same fabric, creating a simple, natural outfit for sleep, stroller walks, or quiet days at home. In our customer survey, 98% of mothers chose bodysuits over separate tops for everyday practicality, because they stay in place and make layering easier.
Small details parents notice
The fabric is made from natural merino wool, selected for softness against delicate baby skin. The garment is sewn in Lithuania from carefully sourced European fabric and is suitable as a reliable base layer all year round. If you want one piece that feels gentle, practical, and easy to use from day one, this newborn kimono bodysuit is a thoughtful choice.

Yes. Merino wool manages moisture well and feels comfortable during physical activity, making it a great choice for sports, hiking and everyday movement.
Merino wool naturally resists odour build-up compared with many synthetic fabrics. Often, simply airing the garment is enough between wears.
A merino base layer works best when worn close to the body. If you prefer a more relaxed look and feel, choose a looser-fitting style.
Yes, merino wool may shrink if washed at too high a temperature or on an unsuitable cycle. Always follow the care instructions and avoid tumble drying.
No. We do not recommend tumble drying merino wool. For best results, allow the garment to dry naturally.
Some pilling may occur, especially when the fabric rubs against synthetic materials or rough surfaces. Any pills can be gently removed with a wool comb or fabric shaver suitable for wool.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 means the fabric has been tested for harmful substances and is suitable for wearing close to the skin.
Mulesing-free means the wool comes from sheep that have not undergone the mulesing procedure, making it a more animal-friendly choice.

Sophianne –
Very soft. Keeps warm, but not too warm. We use it as a nightshirt with a sleeveless sleep sack. The integrated mittens were great to keep our newborns hands warm, but I think the sleeves should be longer, the body still fits a bit big, but the sleeves are too short to close over his hands now. Would buy again, they are the only merino wool, front closure, newborn shirts I could find, and a great price.

I bought it for my baby last month. Now I can say that these newborn baby shirts are the most favorite my baby thing ever. Shirts are very soft and warm, so child feels comfortable everytime. 🙂
